Big Adventures, Little World

As of yesterday afternoon I am now a man of leisure. And oh what a life it is. I can do what I want, sleep in, watch movies, play games, whatever I choose. Why am I a man of leisure I hear you ask? Well, yesterday afternoon, about 3pm I was called up to see the boss, where she thanked me for everything and handed me a redundancy package and sent me on my way.

It could be for the best though, gives me time to do a few things I want, and maybe find something a bit more exciting to do with my time and earn some money instead of the same old, mundane, boring, repetitive shit. I’m actually quite excited about the opportunities this could present. Got Japan to look forward to and who knows what after that, guess we will just have to wait and see. But in the meantime, if anyone wants to catch up, I have plenty of time on my hands!

Over Saturday and Sunday I watched the entire series of Underbelly on DVD and was very impressed by it. It always seemed quite interesting and it proved me right. Although I do wonder on how much of it actually happened and to what extent. I don’t doubt that a lot of it did, but the whole thing that it is ‘based’ on a true story is what makes me wonder. So it could be exaggerated somewhat, or even a lot, or it could even be spot on, but who can be sure. Still, not a bad way to spend 10+ hours of the weekend. Well worth the time spent, and come highly recommended by me now. So if you haven’t seen it, try to, you won’t be disappointed.

Today I finally booked my plane tickets to Japan to see my wonderful sister Belinda before she comes home. I really cannot wait and am so excited to be going. First thing to do once getting there will be to spend a few days in Tokyo for shopping before heading up to Nagano to Belinda’s. Where a day later we will be off again to the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL. 3 whole days of non stop music, dancing, partying, camping, craziness and fun! An experience which is one of the main reason getting me over there in the first place!

From then on who knows where we will go but one thing is for sure that it will be non stop fun and games traveling, laughing, drinking, partying with my favourite sister in the whole wide world. Granted she is my only sister, but that’s not the point. She’ll still claim the whole favorite thing!

For some people out there, I see you are still using versions of Internet Explorer. There is so much more out there to choose from, and that do a much better job than IE ever could or will. So do yourself and everyone on the Internet a favour and change your browser from Internet Explore. My suggestion is to use Mozilla Firefox, although there are other options if that isn’t your cup of tea. Please don’t use IE unless you absolutely have to, and if you do have to use IE, then at least upgrade to Version 7, as this is the only just bearable version yet.

Picked up my VIP ticket to this yesterday. A nice leisurely Sunday drive out to Warradale mind you, but who can complain with the likes of Dungie for company!

Cannot wait for this one as the line up is awesome and once again will be partying hard with the greatest friends anyone could ever ask for. Make yourself one of them.
